Short definitionGastrojejunostomy (GAS-troh-JEH-joo-NOS-toh-mee) A surgical procedure that connects part of the stomach to the jejunum (the middle part of the small intestine). This allows food and other stomach contents to pass directly from the stomach to the jejunum without passing through the first part of the small intestine, the duodenum.
