Epiandrosterone

Epiandrosterone (pronounced as epi-an-dro-ster-one) is a steroid hormone that is a natural metabolite of the hormone DHEA.

Etymology

The term "Epiandrosterone" is derived from the Greek words "epi", meaning "upon", "andro", referring to the male hormone androgen, and "sterone", a suffix used in the names of steroid hormones.

Function

Epiandrosterone is a prohormone that is completely legal and available over the counter. It may also appear under the name 3b-hydroxy-etioallocholan-17-one. Epiandrosterone is a precursor to Stanolone, a powerful steroid hormone. Stanolone does not aromatize and convert to estrogen, and is thus ideal for individuals looking for a dry, lean look.
