Desmoid tumor - (pronounced) (DEZ-moyd TOO-mer) type of soft-tissue tumor that forms in fibrous (connective) tissue, usually in the arms, legs, or abdomen. It can also appear in the head and neck area. Desmoid tumors are usually benign (not cancerous).
