Budder

Budder (/ˈbʌdər/) is a term used in the medical cannabis industry to refer to a type of cannabis concentrate. The name "budder" comes from its similar appearance and consistency to dairy butter.

Etymology

The term "budder" is believed to have originated from the cannabis community due to the product's butter-like consistency. The exact origin of the term is unknown.

Production

Budder is produced by extracting THC and other cannabinoids from the cannabis plant using a solvent like butane or CO2. The resulting product is then purged to remove the solvent, resulting in a concentrate that is rich in cannabinoids and terpenes. The final product has a creamy consistency, similar to butter, hence the name "budder".

Usage

Budder can be consumed in a variety of ways. It can be vaporized using a dab rig, added to a joint or bowl, or used in cooking. Due to its high THC content, budder is often used for its potent effects.
