A banana is an edible fruit produced by several kinds of large herbaceous flowering plants in the genus Musa. Bananas contain 0.5 mg of vitamin B6, 9 mg of vitamin C, and 81 IU of vitamin A. Some of their benefits are that they help lower blood pressure, reduce the risks of cancer and asthma, reduces chances of diabetes, prevents diarrhea, and preserves memory.
