ALVAC-CEA vaccine - cancer vaccine made with a form of the canarypox virus that doesn't cause disease in humans. It is being studied to treat some types of cancer. The virus is modified in the lab to make a protein called carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), which is a tumor marker. The ALVAC-CEA vaccine can help the immune system find and kill cancer cells that produce CEA
